We source our yellow peas directly from trusted growers across Canada and the United States—regions known for their rich soil and ideal climate for pulse cultivation. Every supplier is meticulously vetted to meet and exceed Good Agricultural Practices, including advanced soil and water testing to ensure low heavy-metal content, especially lead. By partnering only with farms that share our commitment to responsible land stewardship and healthy soil systems, we guarantee that every batch of VLS protein starts from clean, sustainable, and nutrient-rich ground.

Every batch of VLS protein begins long before processing—it starts with farm selection. We partner only with certified growers whose fields meet our soil health and sustainability standards. Once approved, planting follows strict stewardship practices, using crop rotations and natural soil enrichment to preserve long-term fertility.
At harvest, peas are collected under controlled conditions and sealed immediately for storage to protect purity and freshness. Upon arrival at our facility, every lot undergoes comprehensive intake testing for protein content, moisture, microbial safety, and heavy metals.
Processing is deliberately gentle—preserving the pea’s natural integrity while ensuring the highest functional and nutritional value. Before any shipment leaves, each batch is subjected to a final round of quality control and documented release. With full lot traceability linked directly to your purchase order, we guarantee consistent, transparent quality from seed to shipment.
